Honda’s WOW Dog Car

Honda has decided it was time to cater to the folks that have to cart their dogs around all the time in their cars and created the WOW concept car. As most concept cars it is ugly, but I can see it fitting quite well in Japan for some reason.

Still doesn’t seem that safe with a dog sitting right there especially with a head on collision. I guess some concepts are better left on the drawing board.

Good Vibrations Are Reducing Accidents

The Citroen C4 is the first car to offer vibrating panels to warn the driver of a hazard. The optional system detects when the car is wandering across lanes and vibrates the side of the driver’s that matches thedirection of drift. This alerts the driver to the lack of control, but without the sudden burst of noise of a conventional warning that could cause the driver to overreact and steer suddenly in the other direction.
