Samsung’s External Blu-Ray is something special to look at. Especially in that blue light. The drive writes BD-R discs at 4X and BD-RE at 2x. It uses a second laser to handle DVD and CD burning (I believe burning), and does it all via USB2.0 and Firewire. Coming in 2008.

They may look like a secret Wii accessory we haven’t seen, but these floating bowling pins are actually desktop speakers. They’re held up by a thin spine/rod which you can only see from behind to give the illusion that they’re floating in air. The speakers shoot audio straight into the circular base, which Audio-Technica says helps spread the sound. Here’s the catch, they only deliver 1.7 watts yet cost 200 bones. I don’t care how cool these bowling pins look, 1.7 watts does not equal $200.
Panasonic has always been a figure in the TV industry. Their 50″ TV series was a step to take them from a figure to a powerhouse in the new Slimline TV models.
Overall this TV is a good TV. The TV allows users to watch their digital images, provided they have an SD card. This will also hold true for TV firmware updates. You will be able to update your TV to better resolution, or capabilites if you have a big enough card.

In a recent development. The adult video industry has finally taken a side. Future porn releases will be in HD-DVD format only. This has much the sound of when Porn went VHS and made that a standard worldwide. However, the NYT has discovered that not all porn actresses are for HD. Stormy Daniels says “I’m not 100 percent sure why anyone would want to see their porn in HD.” In fact, just like Hollywood, the porn industry has to go and get cosmetic surgery to hide their “newly visible” imperfections.
