The TIMO Intelligent Oven is ready to take over from your spouse (in the area of cooking at least), featuring both cooking and refrigeration elements that are controlled over the internet remotely. This means you can now start the cooking process when you’re driving back via a cellphone, PDA, or if you live just 10 minutes away from your house, just send the signal from your office computer. This doesn’t mean you’re let off the hook from all the tedious preparation work involved, but at least you are guaranteed of a piping hot meal the moment you step into home sweet home. No nagging spouse involved!

After seeing this it seems kind of silly that no other company hasn’t thought of this already. I mean to me it’s totally obvious to combine a sweet flat screen TV with a microwave. Why not just put a flat screen on an oven so we can get real large screen action?
I can’t find any specs on this thing, but I guess all you need to know is that it cooks your TV dinners in 5 minutes flat while watching Martha Stewart teach you the proper way to prepare a roast.

The Finger Guard is something that I will never use simply because the only thing you will see me cooking is a nice grilled-cheese sandwich, and even then I might just put the toast in the toaster and then melt the sandwich in the microwave. Nonetheless, it doesn’t take away from the significance of how cool this is and how commonsensical (so what? I just made up a word) it is to buy.
Now excuse me while I go and prepare my grilled cheese sandwich without the threat of cutting off my fingers.
