Samsung hasn’t truly declared themselves either way in the war on DVD. Their newest laptop is a step toward HD-DVD. Their M55 laptop supports HD DVD. The machine has a Core Duo T2500, 2GB of RAM, 120GB SATA disk, 17-inch 1920×1200 screen. The price point is high, but so is practically every laptop now.

Samsung has never really been super competitive in the US market. Samsung is trying to change that by introducing the Aura. This black laptop is a Core 2 Duo or Celeron proccesor. Something to consider when it comes out in the USA.

This new mouse stands on it’s side, the company says that it is a more natural way for someone to use their hand. I, for one beg to differ. Using my scroll wheel like a trigger isn’t something I need, and dragging the side of my hand doesn’t seem more benficial. I don’t have a clue how this thing helps me. I’d rather need a handcast than ever be caught using this. However, if you like wrist joints in tact, it comes in at $63

This season will be no different. The 802.11n Airport Extreme doubles the range, and speeds up the ability for upload and download. They have MIMO (multiple input, multiple output) capability. Where old routers wold send out everyones information at one time, the Apple new router sends out each persons individually, to make speeds more efficient.
Rumor around computer circles is that the new Extreme looks to not hit shelves until the release of leopard. It will have the same price point at the original Aiport extreme at launch.
Laser Printers have always been an office staple, since prices were so high. They became such an aid to print lots of copies at a high rate, and less crumple on the paper. However, as the prices drop, should you be in the market for a laser printer? Here is a few questions to ask yourself.
Do I print a large volume of pages? Some people don’t print often, but when they do it’s a large amount of paper. Sitting next to the old inkjet for an hour just isn’t fun. You can’t leave due to paper jams. Lasers also print 2 sided effortlessly, so they look much more professional.
