Samsung has never really been super competitive in the US market. Samsung is trying to change that by introducing the Aura. This black laptop is a Core 2 Duo or Celeron proccesor. It’s not heavy and 5.2 lbs. You can upgrade this monster through the roof honestly. It’ll be something that if you go up to the 4gb of ram, it would last you a good few years. Something to consider when it comes out in the USA.

HTC has blurred the lines between a smartphone and an ultra portable notebook by unveiling the Advantage X7500 at the recently concluded 3GSM World Congress in Barcelona, Spain. The X7500 shares a similar design with notebooks, opening up to reveal a 5″ VGA touchscreen display, an impressive 3 megapixel camera and a VGA camera for video calls, Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity, TV-out, integrated GPS functionality with TomTom Navigator 6 pre-loaded, an 8GB hard drive, and a miniSD memory card slot for expansion options. Battery life is rated at 8 hours, but that depends on how you use it. Pricing details are still unavailable, but we do know that the Advantage will be released in the European market this March via T-Mobile under the ‘Ameo’ moniker

Griffin comes through with a case that is amazing. If you don’t have enough chrome in your life, chrome out your iPod. It’s hardened plastic, so you wont scratch the crap out of it. The back of it is rubber, so it will stick to services. The screen is also mirrored, so the screen dissapears when not in use. Totally awesome, and well worth the price of it.

Nvidia has had well known that 8800 budget graphics cards were coming. Now a new announcement that they are prepping a 8950 GX2 card with dual G80 GPU’s and 512 MB of GDDR4 memory. This looks to be the new ferrari of graphics cards from Nvidia. This will sell for about $600 for the card alone. If these cards are what they are supposed to be, it looks like the other companies need to make a few leaks about their own cards before they get too far behind.

This is a picture of the new Sony VAIO L series concept PC. It’s supposedly an all-in-one that is supposed to look good, while doing everything you need it to do. The screen is a 15.4″ screen with a nice sleek body to keep it as eye candy. Inside it has a set of 3W speakers to give you good sound quality from an all-in-one. Hardware under the hood, looks like a Core 2 duo T5600, and a 120GB HD with 1GB of DDR2 SDRAM. The look? the jury is out on. I think you need to decide if it’s a desktop or a laptop. The keyboard folds up and that doesn’t look sexy.
With Valentines Day here, This is a mousepad in which anyone dating someone should never consider. Nothing like rubbing your wrist between two underdeveloped breasts of a japanese girl to get you started. This is one step below Panty Vending Machines.
I can’t imagine who’d buy this? If you do buy this, you instantly forfit your manhood, or you are never allowed to date someone again. Ever. You’d be banned from procreation.

The ExeMode CDR-300 mini stereo system is a cheap boombox from Japanese company KFE with a single redeeming quality: you put in a CD and it turns its cuts into MP3 or WMA files, slamming them down onto an SD card or USB key.
Unfortunately, for some reason the ExeMode can’t handle SD cards that hold over 1GB. That sucks, but perhaps the most remarkable aspect of his box is its price, quoted at $60. We abandoned CDs long ago, but if you haven’t, this might be a convenient way to quickly snag some of those songs on a flash card.
