Laser Printers have always been an office staple, since prices were so high. They became such an aid to print lots of copies at a high rate, and less crumple on the paper. However, as the prices drop, should you be in the market for a laser printer? Here is a few questions to ask yourself.
Do I print a large volume of pages? Some people don’t print often, but when they do it’s a large amount of paper. Sitting next to the old inkjet for an hour just isn’t fun. You can’t leave due to paper jams. Lasers also print 2 sided effortlessly, so they look much more professional.
Is speed an issue? Inkjets just dont put out pages fast enough. They put out good quality, but at such a slow rate. Do you have deadlines to meet? Do you know that you need to get alot of papers out quickly?
Afraid of upkeep? Laser toner hasn’t ever been cheap. One set of toner runs as much as the printer. However, if your not printing color a lot, you will save yourself as the black toner has a much higher capacity.
The market has changed drastically as technology continues to evolve. Prices dropping on higher capacity printers, there is no better time than now to get in the market.
