Just watch the demo videos of the TactaPad in action and you will see how cool it is, yet how ineffective it is in an environment that requires keyboard typing. I don’t know the benefits it offers over using a mouse (maybe prevents carpal tunnel), but overall it is a very cool concept.

As mentioned at Mavromatic it does give you that Minority Report feel.Interestingly enough, the product isn’t for sale so I can only assume the compan is looking to license the technology. Let’s see if anyone decides to jump on that offer.
