Panasonic has always been a figure in the TV industry. Their 50″ TV series was a step to take them from a figure to a powerhouse in the new Slimline TV models.
Overall this TV is a good TV. The TV allows users to watch their digital images, provided they have an SD card. This will also hold true for TV firmware updates. You will be able to update your TV to better resolution, or capabilites if you have a big enough card.
One thing usually lacking in a TV such as this is Sound Quality. This TV doesn’t dissapoint. It’s no where near a Dolby expierence, but against the other models of it’s size it leads the pack. The TV as with all slim TV’s has a problem showing black as a color, but it does as good as it can without showing gray on the screen.
The downside of this TV is the remote. It’s hard to see in the dark, and for those of us with small fingers the buttons aren’t the most user friendly. However; the range of prices of $1,499 to $3,000 mean you can find this on a deal and not be dissapointed with the money you spend on a quality TV.
